We keep our classes small so every student receives personal attention and plenty of time to learn. Please review the following policies before registering for a class or workshop.
Registration, Payment & Refunds
Class sizes are limited, and registrations are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. Full payment is required at the time of registration to reserve your space.
If you need to cancel, we can refund your class fee, minus credit card processing fees, when notice is received at least seven days before the class begins. Class fees are non-refundable within seven days of the class start date.
Missed Classes
There are no refunds or make-up sessions for classes missed by a student. Our instructors reserve time for each registered student, and holding an unused space may prevent another student from registering for a full class.
Studio Cancellations
The Sewing Studio reserves the right to cancel a class when necessary. If we cancel a class, registered students will receive a refund of their class fees or information about rescheduling.
Weather Closures
If a class session must be postponed because of inclement weather, a make-up session will be scheduled. Registered students will be notified of weather-related cancellations before the scheduled class begins.
Student Ages
Adult classes are intended for students age 14 and older. Age requirements for children’s and youth classes vary and are listed in each class description.
Registration Information
We collect the name, email address, telephone number and home address needed to process class registrations and communicate important class information. This information is kept confidential.
Photos & Video
The Sewing Studio may use photographs or videos taken during classes, workshops and studio events in promotional materials, on our website and on social media. Registration gives The Sewing Studio permission to use these images without additional consent or compensation. Photos of children are not used without the express written consent of parents or guardians.
Personal Belongings
The Sewing Studio is not responsible for personal belongings left at the studio.
