Youth Fashion Club Thursday

This is a 4 week class that focuses on clothing construction basics.

Sewing has so many benefits to young people. Sewing skills include measuring, fractions, geometry, problem solving and gain self confidence as they complete projects. Sewing is also a wonderful creative outlet!

Bring your own machine or use one of the Brother machines in the shop.

 All materials are included .

You may bring your own project if you prefer.

They will learn:

• Threading the machine
• Cutting fabric
• Cutting from a pattern
• Pinning
• Seam finishing
• Control of the fabric in the sewing machine
• Keeping an accurate seam allowance
• Sewing with different kinds of fabric

Please be sure you can make all dates. There are no make up classes.
